Xianheng Electrical Supports Guangxi Power Workers in the 2023 Vocational Skills Competition

On June 29, 2023, the five-day Guangxi Electric Power Industry Vocational Skills Competition for Power Cable Installation, Operation, and Maintenance Workers concluded successfully. The event also served as the Guangxi regional qualifier for the “Power System Operation and Maintenance” category of the Second National Vocational Skills Competition of the People’s Republic of China, as well as the Guangxi division of the China Electricity Council’s 2023 National Power Cable Installation, Operation, and Maintenance Competition.

To provide effective technical support for the competition and ensure its smooth execution, the Guangxi Electric Power Industry Association issued the “Announcement on Recruiting Technical Support Sponsors for the 2023 Guangxi Electric Power Industry Vocational Skills Competition.” Xianheng Electrical responded proactively, serving as a technical expert, referee, and equipment sponsor for the event.

Pre-Competition Intensive Training

One week before the event, at the invitation of several participating teams, Liu Ping, Manager of Xianheng Electrical’s Guangxi Office, coordinated with technical staff to deliver equipment and provide on-site intensive training.

Referee Closed Training

Prior to the competition, Xianheng Electrical’s referees collaborated with experts from the Guangxi Power Grid Cable Division to develop standardized operating procedures for the event. They also conducted centralized, closed training sessions for the other referees. This process showcased the strong professionalism of Xianheng Electrical’s technical team and earned unanimous recognition from both referees and industry experts on site.

Professional, Standardized, and Skill-Oriented Competition

The on-site practical events featured the 10kV cable resonant withstand voltage test error correction and 10kV cable fault detection.

Xianheng Electrical’s co-organization of this competition showcased the company’s strong organizational expertise in vocational skills contests within the power industry. With a professional attitude of continuous improvement and a commitment to high-quality service, the company earned unanimous recognition from the Guangxi Electric Power Association and the hosting units.
