During the spring maintenance of a 10kV vacuum circuit breaker in a distribution room, the insulation resistance was found to have significantly decreased, and the contacts showed excessive wear. To ensure reliable power supply during the peak summer period, the maintenance team decided to replace the old breaker with a new one. Before putting the new breaker into service, several tests need to be performed, including insulation resistance testing, main loop resistance measurement, mechanical characteristic analysis (including closing/opening time, speed, synchronization), and minimum operating voltage calibration.
Multiple instruments need to be transported to the site, resulting in complex and time-consuming wiring setups.
The testing process involves numerous devices, making it cumbersome and inefficient.
Mechanical characteristics and electrical performance data are recorded separately, leading to inefficiency in overall condition assessment.
By using the Insulation Resistance Tester, Loop Resistance Tester, and Switch Mechanical Characteristics Tester, we can streamline the testing process. The switch mechanical tester integrates all necessary tests, including opening/closing time, speed, synchronization, and minimum operating voltage, into a single machine, improving efficiency and simplifying data integration.
Higher fault tolerance in testing, minimizing human errors.
Complete mechanical characteristics testing in one go, improving testing efficiency.
Simple and flexible wiring process, reducing setup time and increasing operational efficiency.
Accurate testing and instant printout of test data, ensuring transparency and quick results.
